It reads the outside air and runs your fans only when that air will cool and dry the grain. Instead of guessing when to switch them on, the controller uses every good window of weather and ignores the bad ones.
Will it save me money?
It can, two ways. The fans only run when they're doing something useful, so you waste less power, and grain held at the right temperature and moisture holds its grade. Tell us your setup and we'll give you an honest read on whether it pays off.
Can I add a controller to fans I already have?
Usually, yes. The advanced controllers work with new fans or fans already on your silos. Tell us what you're running and we'll confirm compatibility.
